Community-Wide Event

Dr. Heagy and her staff committed the entire day to making patients aware of people with disabilities. For a contribution to Clearer Vision Ministries, Inc., patients received treatments from Dr. Heagy. This event not only raised awareness concerning people with disabilities, it generated funds for CVM.

We would also like to thank G'Pops Kitchen, located in The Shoppes at Moultrie Creek on US 1 South, St. Augustine, for providing an excellent lunch for all who worked the event.

"Thank you so much for the wonderful disability awareness training you gave us last week during our staff meeting. The sense of humor and wealth of information you bring to the training made it highly informative and fun. Your obvious passion for your subject and experience in the area also made your presentation exceptionally effective.
After your talk, the entire staff exchanged ideas about what we each learned from you. From communication strategies to increased comfort with leading a person with a visual disability to relaxing because of increased information, we all gained priceless information that will greatly empower us in our work with people of varying ability levels."
